The original concept of Red Bull Thre3Style began three years ago as a Tuesday night experiment at a small club. With a steady supply of Red Bull, the concept found its wings in 2007 and became a fully-fledged DJ battle. The event had a regional focus and took place in six cities across Canada.

Now that it has moved to the United Stated this battle has became one of the Hottest, if anything THEE HOTTEST Dj Battle to this point. Touching down in different cities and adding new qualifiers to the roster to take each other down in the international battle later on this year.

Well TONIGHT IT hit Phoenix, and our very own DJ M2 won first place and murdered it on stage. Congrats and a HUGE Shout Out goes to M2, who showed why he continues to be one of the Greatest in the game.

When I first laid eyes upon the Crossfades, I suspected that I was in for a struggle in putting a positive spin on yet another pair of frankly godawful plastic hipster pleasers. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. Image is obviously top of the agenda here, but it is achieved with a high level of quality too. The Crossfades really do deliver in looks and quality, both for DJs and MP3 player use. But don’t take my word for it… OK do take my word for it right here.
